Gorje offers an interesting introspection in the traditional local trades, which are being revived. Take a look at the blacksmiths’ workshops, the sawmills and cheese factories. Did you know that the symbol of Gorje is a bell? In the past the craft of bell-making flourished in these parts and today you too can admire the skilful craftsmen reviving the old cow bell making techniques.
